Terms

Terms for using Protexct.

These terms set the ground rules for accessing the Protexct website and services.

Effective date: August 27, 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using Protexct, you agree to these Terms of Service and any referenced policies. If you use Protexct for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your credentials confidential.

2. The service

Protexct provides security gateway, policy, observability, audit, and related features as described on the applicable product pages or order form. We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including beta features, when reasonably necessary to operate or secure it.

We do not guarantee that the service will detect every vulnerability, block every attack, or remain uninterrupted. Protexct is a security control and does not replace your own testing, review, incident response, or compliance obligations.

3. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, configurations, connected systems, upstream providers, credentials, and all activity performed through your workspace. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit data to Protexct and connect any system you configure.

You must not use Protexct to violate law or third-party rights, disrupt the service, bypass access controls, deploy malware, conduct unauthorized testing, or access data that you are not authorized to access.

4. Data and security

You retain your rights in data you submit to Protexct. You authorize us to process that data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy and your configuration.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate retention, access, and integration settings. We may suspend access to protect the service, users, or third parties from security threats or misuse.

5. Fees and third-party services

Paid features are billed according to the pricing, order form, or checkout terms presented when you purchase them. Taxes, usage limits, cancellation terms, and refunds may vary by plan and applicable order terms.

Protexct may integrate with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Protexct is not responsible for their availability or behavior.

6. Intellectual property and termination

Protexct and its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and content are owned by Protexct or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, legal requirements, security risk, non-payment, or service discontinuation. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will survive.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protexct is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protexct will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Any liability cap and governing-law terms applicable to a paid plan will be stated in the relevant order form or agreement.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@protexct.com.
