Privacy

Privacy, with fewer surprises.

This policy explains what Protexct collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you visit our website or use the Protexct service.

Effective date: August 27, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company or workspace details, support messages, and billing information handled through our payment providers.

When you use Protexct, we also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser details, request timestamps, authentication events, configuration changes, audit events, and service diagnostics.

Content sent through a customer's gateway, including prompts, tool metadata, and responses, may be processed to provide the requested security, routing, logging, and reporting features.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Protexct; authenticate users; enforce workspace permissions and usage limits; process billing; respond to support requests; detect abuse; investigate incidents; and communicate service-related notices.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, reliability, and product improvement. We do not sell personal information.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us host infrastructure, store data, send email, process payments, provide analytics, or operate security tooling. Those providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Protexct or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security records. Retention periods can vary by data type, workspace settings, and plan.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. You can opt out of non-essential marketing messages by using the unsubscribe mechanism or contacting us.

Requests and privacy questions can be sent to support@protexct.com.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Protexct changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Your continued use of the service after an update means the revised policy applies to your use going forward.
